ROCKFORD — Several students from the Rockford-Rudd-Marble Rock Community School District recently showcased their skills at the 2026 Math Bee held at Clear Lake Middle School.
Representing RRMR were Austin Abell, Jackson Dow, Joey Boehmer, Parker Dodge, Baye Bouillon and Adelyn Koenigsfeld. The annual competition brings together students from across the region to test their problem-solving abilities and mathematical knowledge.

Floyd County Board of Supervisors approve software program agreement

At their April 28 meeting, the Floyd County Board of Supervisors approved a Pre-Release Software Program agreement with ReGov Solutions, LLC.
The agreement includes a payment of $94,500 for a one-time, non-refundable migration and installation fee.
ReGov Solutions is a SaaS and integrated payments provider committed to serving local governments and is currently providing solutions in multiple states across the United States. 

RRMR FFA members attend state leadership conference

Eighteen members of the National FFA Organization chapter at Rudd-Rockford-Marble Rock Community School District attended the 98th Iowa FFA Leadership Conference over the past three days, gaining hands-on leadership experience and statewide exposure.

RRMR seventh-graders celebrate Earth Day with creative recycled games

Seventh-grade students at RRMR School District marked Earth Day on April 23 with a hands-on science activity that combined creativity, competition and environmental awareness.
As part of their science classes, students designed and built original games using recycled materials. The projects featured handmade boards, playing pieces and unique rules, showcasing both ingenuity and an understanding of sustainability concepts.

Nora Springs Care Center hosts festive April mocktail hour

Residents at Nora Springs Care Center enjoyed a festive and flavorful gathering during the facility’s April mocktail hour, highlighted by a seasonal drink dubbed “Bunny Punch.”
The specialty beverage featured a mix of strawberry lemonade, lemon-lime soda, cool whip and strawberry ice cream, topped with a marshmallow Peep for a spring-themed touch.
