Roger W. Burnett, 84, of Greene, Iowa, passed away on June 9, 2026, at the 11th St. Chautauqua Guest Home in Charles City.

Born to Lester and Edith (Goodell) Burnett in Mitchellville, Iowa, Roger later attended high school in Rockford. On September 10, 1961, he married Gayle (Rowley), and together they raised two children, a daughter, Gwen, and a son, Tom.

Dennis M. Grauerholz, 73, of Nora Springs passed away Saturday, April 11, 2026. 
Funeral services wereheld 10 a.m. Friday, April 17 at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd St. NE, Mason City with Mark Doebel officiating. Burial was at Rock Grove Cemetery, rural Nora Springs.
Memorials may be directed in care of Dennis’ family.

Mabel Katherine (Schmitt) Zeran,  83 of Mason City, Iowa, passed away on April 29, 2026, at Mercy One Hospital in Mason City surrounded by family.  
Mabel is survived by her husband Richard Zeran of Mason City of 54 years; sons Kevin Schmitt of Anoka, Minn.; Justin (Amy) Zeran of Lawler; Raymond (Sue) Zeran of Coon Rapids, Minn.; Mark Zeran of Mason City and grandchildren Andrew, Kylee and Jackson Zeran.  

Henry Vogelman, 91, of Greene, passed away, Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at the Rehabilitation Center of Allison. Woodley Funeral Home and Crematory of Greene is caring for Henry and his family. A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 3, at the RRMR HS gymnasium in Rockford. A reception and time of sharing will follow in the school lunch room.

Thelma J. Ernst passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026, in Mason City, Iowa. A celebration of life service will be April 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mason City, Iowa.  Visitation is one hour before the service.

Jerrie Jean Koppen, 82, of Nora Springs, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026, at the Nora Springs Care Center.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Sheckler Colonial Chapel, 114 N. Hawkeye Ave., Nora Springs, with Randy Koppen officiating. Visitation will take place two hours prior, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at Park Cemetery in Nora Springs.

Doris June (Coyle) Jeffrey, 99, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on June 27, 1926, in Thornton, Iowa, Doris was one of eight children born to Edward and Dulcie (Hartwig) Coyle.

Janice Elaine Stowe, formerly of Rockford, Iowa, received her wings on February 24, 2026, passing away peacefully in Oro Valley, Arizona, at the beautiful age of 77. A funeral service will be held at First Covenant Church in Mason City, Iowa at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 6, 2026, with Pastor Steve Johnson officiating. Interment will follow the service at Riverside Cemetery in Rockford, Iowa. Visitation will be open from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Our beloved Donna Julien, 89, passed away on February 24, 2026 at MercyOne Medical Center in Mason City, IA.
